Only purchase fireworks that are with a mark BS 7114 and CE marked (EN 15947)
Do not drink alcohol if you hold the official fireworks lighter
Make sure you keep the fireworks contained in a tightly closed box
Follow the directions for each firework.
The fireworks should be lit at a distance of about an arm’s length using the taper supplied.
Stay strong and stand back
Avoid getting too close to fireworks which have been lit, but haven’t yet been fired as they may still be lit or even explode.

Wear gloves that aren’t flammable when working with sparklers
Do not offer sparklers to children who is under five years old.
Pets should be kept inside.
Do not set off your loud fireworks later in the midnight and not later than 11:00 p.m. (except on certain special occasions)

THE LAW
If you are caught using fireworks in a way that isn’t legal and you are found guilty, you could be required to pay an amount of PS80 at the time of arrest. If you’re found guilty by an indictment the possibility of the maximum penalty of PS5k.
It’s a crime to:
Purchase adult fireworks if not yet 18 years old.
Set off fireworks on the street or other places that are public.
The fireworks will begin at 11 a.m. between 7 and 11 a.m.
But, you can enjoy fireworks at midnight on bonfire nights and up to midnight or 1 a.m. during Thanksgiving Day, New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year or Diwali.

SPARKLER SAFELY
Sparklers are five times more hot that cooking oils. Sparklers are not toys , and should not be handed out to children who are less than 5 years old.
Where to buy
Do not cut corners in order to save a few dollars. Make sure you purchase fireworks from a reputable online retailer (like Ours) to ensure they’re in compliance to British regulations. This means they are required to be branded with BS 7114 written on the packaging.
Some stores are have a limited opening time prior to Bonfire Night, but these aren’t the best stores to buy fireworks. The staff in these stores might not have the best knowledge about the safety of using fireworks, and the fireworks might not be in line with British standards.
Whatever you do, you shouldn’t purchase fireworks from a place you’re not sure of for example, the back of a van , or an unpermanent market stand.
What to buy
There are many different types of fireworks. People who are citizens can purchase and then set off the majority of the fireworks in the category 1 to 3. These are fireworks that comprise ones that can be used outdoors, indoors or in a display. Be sure to read the label carefully to ensure that the fireworks you’re purchasing are suitable to the place you’ll use them.
PROFESSIONAL FIREWORKS
Certain fireworks can only be bought and used by professional fireworks experts. This includes air bombs airborne missiles and aerial maroons mortar and grenade shells, mini rockets; all bangers and erratic-flight fireworks. They also include Categories 2 , 3 and 4 fireworks which go beyond their size limitations as well as the entire category 4 fireworks.
CONTROLING THEM
One person will be responsible for the fireworks. If that’s you, be sure that you take all required precautions. Know the rules and don’t consume alcohol until all been released. Plan ahead, and during daylight hours. In the dark you’ll require:
A Light
Two buckets or a bucket of water
Protection for the hand and eye
A bucket of earth that is soft to place fireworks
